Auction Team Member - Website maintenance for 2015

The largest fundraiser of the year needs a person to update and maintain the new auction website using our new software designed for this task.

Detailed Description: 
The auction is an annual event for the church that is our largest fundraiser and a great social event! In 2014 UUCDC purchased new software for our annual auction. It is a terrific software program, with many "bells and whistles".  We are looking for someone who isn't afraid of "tinkering" to update and maintain the site.  It can be set up so messages change automatically on pre-set dates. This is a "behind the scenes" job, which can be done on your own schedule, in the comfort of your own home, even in your pajamas! Some work is needed in the early fall,  and then after the auction (to set up for the following year).  Depending on your previous knowledge and learning curve, this may only take 10 hours of your time, total. It helps if you have some general familiarity with HTML but this is NOT a programming position.

Skills Needed: 
Familiarity with HTML helpful, willingness to explore the possibilities of applying different colors and designs to the existing auction website.
Training, assistance, and safety requirements: 
There are Wiki notes & frequently asked questions available from other churches which have used this software, also the original programmer is available by phone and we learned a few things last year that we will gladly pass along.
