Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich Coordinator

Once a month organize an enjoyable time for adults and children to join together to make peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for the church's Hunger Task Force, which feeds 200 homeless people a nutricious meal the second Saturday of the month.

Detailed Description:
The church’s Hunger Task Force feeds about 200 homeless people a nutritious meal each second Saturday of the month, including offering peanut-butter-and-jelly (PB&J) sandwiches that people can take with them. The PB&J coordinator plays an important role in making this happen! On the second Saturday of the month, the coordinator organizes making sandwiches at the church with members of the congregation. The coordinator makes sure the ingredients, tools, and volunteers are there and communicates with the other Task Force on Hunger coordinators and the church administrator regarding scheduling and best practices. It's an enjoyable opportunity for young and old alike to spend time doing an important task that helps the homeless in Upper Darby.
