UUCDC seeks to build ties between our church and the surrounding community. 

We invite groups from Delaware County and the greater Philadelphia area to rent space in our building for weddings, classes, and other events. We offer inviting and inspiring rooms that can accommodate 15 to 220 people, include ample seating, and feature audio-visual (AV) hook-ups. Take a tour of the building to select the right room for your needs. 

Space at UUCDC may be rented by any group whose purpose, goals, ideals or philosophy is consistent with or neutral toward the broad values and ideals of the church. Please keep the following in mind:

• UUCDC does not assume responsibility for the opinions or activities of any organization or individual that is not officially connected with our church. Permission to use church facilities does not necessarily constitute endorsement of the renters or their goals. 
• Renters should specify in their announcements and publicity that events will be “held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County,” rather than using language that may imply that there is sponsorship by or affiliation with the church. 
• Rentals are first-come, first-served, however, church-sponsored events have priority when possible over requests for building use from non-church groups and individuals.  
• Rentals by individual church members are not considered church use. Church members in good standing (someone who has signed the membership book and has made a payment of at least $100 against a pledge in the current or previous calendar year) may reserve the church facilities free of charge for “life passage events” such as weddings, memorial or funeral services, child dedications, or any ceremonial event with a minister performing a ritual. All other use of church facilities by members will be at a discounted rental rate and all Rental Rules apply.
