Nothing is more sacred to American democracy than the right to vote, which lately has been under attack.

Defending it requires all eligible adults to elect leaders and support initiatives that reflect Our Values

A national program organized by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), UU the Vote is a non-partisan faith initiative to engage our neighbors, educate our communities, mobilize voters, and rally around key ballot initiatives. In Pennsylvania, it is a partnership between with UUJusticPA. At UUCDC, it takes the form of congregants organizing to increase voter turnout in Delaware County, surrounding areas, and the state.

The 2024 General Election, including for President, is coming, during which UUCDC’s UU the Vote effort will focus in three key areas:

  • Voter registration and building turnout
  • Sending postcards and letters to registered voters who are unlikely to go to the polls
  • Calling voters via phone banks.
