This year we are sponsoring two organizations: CYS (Children and Youth Services) and CAADC (Community Action Agency of Delaware County)

The two organizations are requesting the following:

• New, Unwrapped Toys (age 0-16 years)
• New, Unwrapped Small Electronics such as headphones/earbuds or electric toys (no more than $50)
• Gift Cards from Walmart, Target, Visa, Mastercard
• Food Gift Certificates from Acme, Giant, Shoprite
• Cash or Checks made to UUCDC with Adopt-A-Family in the memo (we will donate directly to the organizations)

All donations should be unwrapped and unmarked (aside from value of gift cards) in unsealed envelopes if desired.

No sign up is necessary. You can drop off on Sundays or during the week in the donation boxes inside the sanctuary. A box will be provided for toy donations.

All donations must be received by Sunday, December 18th.

The last couple of years, local organizations have transitioned to a new giving model due to staffing and safety concerns. The need to support families hasn’t changed though. If anything, it’s even more important now. Gift card purchases also empower the receiver to purchase their own things that are needed.

Ways to involve your family:

Pick out a toy or game that your child would like to share with another child.

When buying gift cards it can be a great opportunity to discuss how much help this can provide to a family in need.
