April’s Share the Plate recipient is Family Promise of Delaware County. Delivering a life-saving service of shelter and stabilization to families in need, because every child deserves a home. They work to transform the lives of families experiencing homelessness, and to keep family members together, assist them in finding permanent housing and mentor them to achieve sustainability through a community-based response. Funds will help them maintain their day center which does intake, counselling and placement of the families in permanent settings and transportation to and from the participating faith communities.
