The Delaware County Literacy Council helps adults develop reading, writing, math and English Language skills to thrive in the workplace and the community. DCLC was formed in 1975 by a coalition of volunteers concerned by the number of people in the community who were unable to read and write. 

In lieu of its annual gala fundraiser this year, DCLC will hold a “Literacy is Essential” telethon, hosted by Delco native Tina Fey, on Wednesday October 21 at 8pm.
