September’s recipient is the Chester Children’s Chorus, a program of Swarthmore College that provides year-round music and math education to children of Chester. During the school year, children and youth ages 7 through 18 develop their vocal talents via rehearsals and concerts as well as their math skills through small group and individualized instruction. Since its founding in 1994, more than 600 children have participated in the program, which equips them for academic and personal success in their community and beyond. Share the Plate includes the plate collection on the second Sunday and any funds sent via text: $20 STP to 610-756-8883 for a $20 donation.
