The mission of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Delaware County is to:

We ignite personal growth by:

• Being a force for educating and inspiring others in Unitarian Universalism (UU).
• Offering programming that serves as a springboard to personal and spiritual growth.
• Employing Growth Through Service (GTS) and neigborhood groups as a catalyst for improvement of all aspects of congregational life.

We engage in loving community by:

• Inviting and encouraging our members to experience love that transforms.
• Creating a culture where each person experiences a sense of appreciation and acknowledgment.
• Nourishing an environment where generations learn, work, and grow together.
• Cultivating a diverse and multi-dimensional staff that serves the needs of all our constituents.

We serve with integrity by:

• Being recognized within our community and our faith as a committed voice and active force for focused social change.
• Engaging in activities that enhance the lives of others in our local communities through Share the Plate, Interfaith Hospitality Network and other endeavors.
• Ensuring that members have a clear invitation and path to participate in social justice activities.
