Welcome to “Starting Point”

Starting Point is a unique program designed to provide newcomers and long-timers with the opportunity to experience Unitarian Universalism rather than just hearing about it. It focuses on personal spiritual journeys and the historical journey of Unitarian Universalism and UUCDC as well as the shared journey that we travel together, which includes listening to one’s deepest self, opening to life’s gifts, and serving needs greater than our own.

“Starting Point taught me a lot about UU history and our own congregation’s past, and it was also a great way to grow closer with others in our community.” ~ Jeff LaBonde

“I recommend it highly to those new to Unitarian Universalism, UUCDC specifically, or both!” ~Scott Klaum

“Starting Point gave me insight into the traditions, beliefs, and practices of Unitarian Universalism and made me proud to be a member of this wonderful congregation. Plus it was fun!” ~ Lisa Rosenberger

The next session will be held on Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 AM to noon. A continental breakfast and snacks will be available. For more information, contact Mark Bernstein.
