Today’s bestsellers. Classic literature. Moving novels. Fascinating non-fiction. Stories that make you think, dream, and cry.
All are fodder for the folks in the UUCDC Book Club, which has been active for almost 25 years. Each month, club members agree to read a book suggested by one of them, then meet for about 90 minutes to discuss it. During these sessions, they share their thoughts about plot, characters, issues, and other aspects of the work.
You don’t need to formally join. Just show up. The group meets year-round on the fourth Saturday of the month at 11 a.m. in the Youth Room or McClennen Room at the church. Be sure to bring your insights.
