The Soul Matters theme for February is Inclusion. This week’s services on Sunday, February 2 ask us to consider what our commitment to inclusion means for our relations with neighbors, strangers, and families among us who live these days with heightened fear for their security and their lives. In this era of intensely dehumanizing rhetoric and policies against immigrants, migrants, and refugees, the interfaith Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition (PIC) continues its essential work to “promote, defend, and advance immigrant rights throughout Pennsylvania by building power in immigrant communities and
advocating with a coordinated voice to establish welcoming public policies.” Our special speaker Jasmine Rivera, the joyful and fearless Executive Director of PIC, will share with us the values underlying her advocacy for immigrant justice and through stories will give voice to the individuals and communities with whom she works. Jasmine will also offer us timely opportunities to live out in the world our timeless and always urgent UU values of justice, generosity, interdependence and love.

In-person worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 9:30am and 11:15am.  The 9:30 service is also available via Zoom with an online order of service. All are welcome.
