You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously.” ~ Sophia Bush

This coming Sunday, February 16, Jeff LaBonde will be sharing about his journey from music ministry to seminary in a conservative Christian context and how that has led him on the road toward Unitarian Universalist ministry 20 years later. He will be drawing parallels regarding the universal human experience of change, both inside and outside. How do we genuinely welcome all that we are, all that we have been, and all that we might yet be? How do we extend that radical act of love to others, including those at very different stages of their life? And how might that apply to the particularly divided time and place in which we find ourselves?

“Love is the only force capable of transforming an enemy into a friend.” ~ Martin Luther King Jr, Loving Your Enemies

Music will be provided by the choir. Coffee and good conversation will be available between the services. The first service will be recorded by our Audio Visual Team and posted on the UUCDC website.

In-person worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 9:30am and 11:15am.  The 9:30 service is also available via Zoom with an online order of service. All are welcome.
