This Sunday, March 23 there will be a multigenerational service in which we will participate in the Flower Communion. The Flower Communion originated over a hundred years ago during the ministry of Rev. Norbert Capek in 1923 when he was the minister at the Unitarian Church in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Rev. Capek wanted to figure out a way to celebrate the beauty and diversity of his congregation and, for that matter, the whole world. As he was thinking about how to do this, the symbol of flowers came to mind. Come join us for this special tradition that many UU congregations celebrate this time of year. Please bring with you some flowers from your yard or garden to participate in this ritual. The Junior choir will also be singing only during the first service. Rhonda Rowland will be headlining the 11:15 service.
In-person worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 9:30am and 11:15am. The 9:30 service is also available via Zoom with an online order of service. All are welcome.
