A Celebration of Earth Day

This Sunday, April 20 join the Climate Action Team as we reflect on the interdependence between humans and the Earth, through words, music and rituals. As Unitarian Universalists, we believe that we live more richly when we understand our relationship to the Earth, and have a sense of awe at the wonders that inhabit our planet. The children will join us for this multigenerational service. Each person or household is invited to bring a small amount of soil from their garden or other special place to be used in a community soil ritual. To celebrate the promise of rebirth in Spring, there will be a planting activity for the children in place of an Easter egg hunt after the 9:15 service. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday, April 20, at the 9:30 or 11:15 service.

Music will be provided by Joy Thiessen. Coffee and good conversation will be available between the services. The first service will be recorded by our Audio Visual Team and posted on the UUCDC website.

In-person worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 9:30am and 11:15am.  The 9:30 service is also available via Zoom with an online order of service. All are welcome.
