Acceptance, Transcendence, and the Courage to Take a Stand
Amidst the uncertainty of the world around us, we face an ancient truth: suffering both shatters and shapes us. Throughout history, marginalized groups have navigated and transcended this struggle by accepting such pain with open eyes, then forging it into renewal. How do we continually turn heartache into relentless, peaceful rebellion, making justice and love not distant hopes, but living practices—no matter what happens? Jeff LaBonde is a member of UUCDC, leads our children’s choir, and is an aspirant to UU ministry.
In-person worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 10am. The service is also available via Zoom. All are welcome.
