All We Need Is Here: All Ages Ingathering Worship Service
Join us as Rev. Laura preaches her very first sermon as our settled minister on Ingathering Sunday, September 7, 2025. As we begin a new chapter together, we gather to remember the truth at the heart of community: everything we need is already here, among us. Through story, ritual, and song, we will celebrate the gifts of abundance that flow when we show up for one another. In our annual Ingathering service, we will share in a ritual of water and stones, grounding ourselves in the strength of community and the sacred promise that—when we come together—we have all we need.
In the past, Ingathering Sunday meant one service followed by a picnic. This year, we’re trying something new. Because Ingathering has been so crowded in recent years, we’ll have two services — 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM — with the early service also available on Zoom.
Since the new schedule makes the traditional picnic tricky, we’ve moved it to the late afternoon, 4–6 PM. The Board will provide a delicious catered picnic dinner, and we’ll have plenty of fun: a cornhole tournament, a bouncy house for the kids, and lots of time to reconnect with one another.
Kids and teens are invited to bring their school backpack to the picnic for a backpack blessing with Chrissy and Rev. Laura.
In-person worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 9:30am and 11:15am. The early service is also available via Zoom. All are welcome.
