January 6 and the Fire of Commitment

As Unitarian Universalists, we are called on to live out our principles and values. How do we do this when these values and principles are not just threatened, but openly attacked, as they were on January 6, 2021? Placing the January 6 insurrection in a broader context, on this Sunday, January 7, UUCDC member John Davies will examine how Unitarian Universalists have confronted evil and injustice, whether Naziism, white supremacy in its many forms, or attacks on American democracy. Joe Miller will lead the service and Religious Education Director Chrissy Bushyager will provide the Time for All Ages. Music will be provided by Music Director Bob Rowland and Gabby Sacks. Services times are 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Coffee will be served between services.

There will be a Town Hall concerning the UUCDC Bylaws revision after the first service. You can access the latest Questions and Answers document by clicking or tapping the blue button at the bottom the service announcement section.

All services are recorded by our Audio-Visual Team and posted on the UUCDC website.
