The Hunger Task Force Food Collection Team will be collecting food this Saturday, April 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the UUCDC church parking lot to supply dinner to the 32 residents at the Upper Darby Life Center Shelter. In addition to deliveries to the Life Center Shelter on the second Saturday of each month, we also provide this meal to 20 or so guests at Breaking Bread, an emergency shelter that is also in Upper Darby. We need volunteers to purchase and prepare food and to help with delivery. For more information or to sign up to help, please contact the Hunger Task Force coordinator.
