UUCDC’s Library provides resources to encourage, enhance, and enrich spiritual growth and support our Faith Formation and Religious Education programs.

Our lending library contains over a thousand books for adults, youth, and children. It is located on the lower level of the church building in the hallway leading to the chapel. There are collections for children, teens, and parents, as well as books on the Bible and world religions that are located on the lower bookshelves along the wall. The adult collection is in the Chapel foyer and includes books organized by topics such as Spirituality, Mind and Body, Science and Religion, Social Justice, and Unitarian Universalism popular with newcomers..

Use of the library’s materials is on the honor system. Anyone who attends UUCDC regularly is welcome to borrow books. All must be signed in and out using the clipboard next to the library on the lower level. Please return books to the basket next to the checkout station. To search the collection, please consult the online catalog.

A bin for book donations is located downstairs near the Chapel. Inside is a form with details and criteria for accepted books, as found in the UUCDC Library Policy and Procedures. Donors are requested to read, sign and leave the form with the donated books.
