Resistance as a Spiritual Practice

Resistance is often framed as something reactive, loud, or purely political—but many spiritual traditions teach that resistance is also a disciplined, interior practice. It is the work of staying awake in a world that numbs us, of refusing what diminishes our humanity, and of choosing love again and again even when it costs us something. In this service, we will explore resistance as a spiritual practice: grounded in conscience, sustained by community, and rooted in hope. Come to reflect on what you are being called to resist—and what you are being called to protect.
