Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays!
Warm wishes to you all during this holiday season. As we reflect on an eventful year at UUCDC, we are deeply grateful for this community and hopeful as we look ahead to an exciting and meaningful 2026.
Our Holiday Party and EZ Auction were a smashing success—we raised more than $24,000! A few items (including events and crafts) are still available, so be sure to stop by Fellowship Hall after worship on December 21 to take a look. Many, many thanks to the lead organizers of the auction: Mary K., Joan K., Janet B., and Vibhat N., whose dedication and hard work made this wonderful evening possible. And, an additional thank you to the entertainment provided by Jeff K.’ s band, the Basement Apes, and our resident juggler, Rich Cairncross.
As we begin the new year, the Board will be hosting informal listening sessions between services, starting Sunday, January 11, 2026, and continuing every other Sunday. These sessions are an opportunity for us to hear directly from you about what matters most to you and how UUCDC can best serve our community.
How can UUCDC serve you?
We invite you to join us in the Youth/Family Room to share your thoughts, experiences, and hopes for our congregation. More details will be shared as the dates approach, but you might begin reflecting on these questions:
- Why do you attend UUCDC?
- Is there something UUCDC should be doing that we are not?
- Is there a different question we should be asking?
Your voice matters, and we truly look forward to listening.
With gratitude and best wishes,
Marylin Huff
Board President
On behalf of the Board of the Unitarian Universalists of Delaware County (UUCDC)
