Adult Coming of Age

Summary

We now have Adult Coming of Age at UUCDC!  The Adult COA class starts this month and continues to meet on one Saturday morning a month through May. You can see the whole schedule and sign up here. We will learn, share, explore and have some fun together, but we won't do the high ropes course like the teens.

Adult Coming of Age at UUCDCI’m so excited to be starting the new year with a new program for adults at UUCDC. For years our congregation has provided a Coming of Age (COA) program for our 7th and 8th grade youth. This is a deep dive into all things UU that
helps our youth clarify their beliefs. Plus there are some fun adventures and a chance to lead worship at the end of the year.

I have often had adults tell me they wish they had the chance to be part of COA. Well, now we have Adult Coming of Age at UUCDC! Even though adults have moved through the important identity development stages of adolescence, that
does not mean that we have stopped growing and changing! We continue to “come of age”: coming of age as an adult, coming of age as a parent, coming of age as a retiree, etc.

The Adult COA class starts this month and continues to meet on one Saturday morning a month through May. You can see the whole schedule and sign up here. We will learn, share, explore and have some fun together, but we won’t do the high ropes course like the teens.
