Sunday Services

When

01/19/2025
9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Event Type

Due to the snow which is forecasted to begin between 11am and noon Sunday, there will only be one service, held at 9:30. This will be the originally scheduled service celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and telling the story of the Civil Rights movement. We will still offer a special Children’s chapel during the 9:30 service for young children (Preschool-3rd grade) that will present the same themes in a more interactive way, and music will be provided by the choir.

If the forecast changes and the snow begins earlier, a decision to also cancel the 9:30 service will be made by 7:30am Sunday.

On Sunday, January 19 we will have special services celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and telling the story of the Civil Rights movement through stories, songs, and images. We are telling a story that needs to be told, over and over, so that we remember its people and its principles. This is a service for all ages, but we know that our youngest children may struggle with the format. We will offer a special Children’s chapel during the 9:30 service for young children (Preschool-3rd grade) that will present the same themes in a more interactive way.

In-person worship services are held in the Sanctuary at 9:30am and 11:15am.  The 9:30 service is also available via Zoom with an online order of service. All are welcome.
