Rev. Dr. Thandeka is an ordained UU minister and congregational consultant, as well as a professor, author, and producer. She is a proponent of Affect Theology, which puts feeling and emotion at the forefront of religious experience (as opposed to thoughts and ideas). By focusing on the emotional connections between individuals within small groups and congregations, people can “love beyond belief.” Rev.
